AJ Michelotti, D.M.D.

Dr. AJ Michelotti is a highly skilled and compassionate periodontist dedicated to providing exceptional periodontal care and dental implant treatments. With 5 years of experience, Dr. Michelotti specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, as well as advanced procedures such as bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, and dental implant placement. Using the latest technologies in periodontics such as 3d CBCT radiography, laser periodontal therapy, and IV conscious sedation, he enjoys the opportunity to work closely with referring dentists to provide the best outcomes for his patients. Dr. Michelotti takes a patient centered approach to periodontics and treats every patient as he would if his parents were in the chair.

Dr. Michelotti was raised in Tampa, Florida and attended the University of Florida for both his Bachelor and Doctor of Medical Dentistry degrees. His passion for periodontal surgery led him to complete a clinical residency in periodontics at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. Dr. Michelotti is a board-certified periodontist with memberships to the American Academy of Periodontics, Southern Academy of Periodontics, American Dental Association and Spears Study Club.

When not treating patients, Dr. Michelotti is an avid golfer who loves watching his Liverpool FC, Chicago Bears and Florida Gators on the weekends. Dr. Michelotti and his wife Laura enjoy taking their two dogs (Ryder and Iroh) on long trail hikes and spoiling them daily.
