John C. Harrell, D.M.D.

A 1992 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, Dr. Harrell also completed his Periodontics residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 1994. He completed his undergraduate studies at Presbyterian College, where he played soccer.

He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Southern Academy of Periodontology. He is also a member of the Thomas P. Hinman Dental Society, the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.

Dr. Harrell, a native Atlantan lives with his wife, Denise, in Alpharetta. He is an avid runner and has completed over 40 marathons including the 7 Abbott World Marathon Majors, which include the Boston, Chicago, New York, London, Berlin, Tokyo & Sydney marathon.  He and his wife also enjoy raising their chickens, reading, traveling, surf fishing and cooking on the big green egg.
